We all traverse through life looking for our calm – things and people who will satisfy us. We think that there is only one thing that will give us deep satisfaction.
After I began exploring the connections that the brain makes with the information that it receives from our senses, I realised that my son’s dislike for school stemmed from something deeper, yet something simple. It was probably something that he had heard. When we moved through the years, we understood that his best influences had also been his worst influences. And that was us, his family.
All of us humans, have descended from the great apes. We have the wild resting inside us, and every once in a while, we do give in to this wild – the excitement that comes with belonging to the wild.
