I don’t like disturbed endings, and simply refuse to write them out. But today, a sense of foreboding has settled around me.
Our wings are made of all the feathers that keep us alive – our people, our environment, our skills, our character. So, every time we lose a feather, we also end up losing a part of the energy that keeps us alive.
Maybe, my calm had to do with a sense of going home to something I am creating for myself, my family, and our people. This idea embraced me with a peaceful sort of exhilaration, for a while.
For a while…
The brain is pre-programmed to repeat, and build upon repetitions. The mind, though, can be self-programmed to erase limiting beliefs, and enter fresh, useful codes into the computer system that is our brain.
Our thoughts and emotions, can sometimes become too overwhelming for us to try and gain any sort of control over them. During those moments, we need to find shelter in safe havens - For the storm brings in its wake, death and destruction.
It is we, who are in dark of the things that happen within the dark. But the darkness, my dear you, is a fully functional space, pre-existing everything that is the known. And light, is nothing other than the knowledge of an otherwise unknown darkness.
And since we have no clue of what is going on within us, we also have no idea about the amount of pressure our stress is exerting upon our internal organs. Until it bursts out in the form of a red eye, an itchy scalp, high blood pressure, a broken relationship, and well, just about anything else.
What we can do, is learn to become aware, and manage our connections. What we can do is, remember to stay grounded – every time we wander into the unhealthy world, let us remember to get back home, to our well-being. What we can do, is call out to the divine within.
Wish-making is nothing other than the simple science of how our brain takes us to the destinations we desire.
It makes sense then, doesn’t it, that we learn the art of wish-making. For wish-making can be the trickiest art to master.
